Corporate social responsibility

As a young, forward thinking company we have always taken our CSR very seriously. We invest heavily in the training and motivation of our team. We look after our suppliers, particularly the smaller ones, and in return we get their best service and prices. We are an active member of our community, with involvement in local committees and support our local schools in a variety of ways. We also support a number of local and national charities, donating over £25,000 in the last two years alone. 

All of us at Squeeze are acting in response to the issue of climate change and for the last two years, we have joined companies like Land Securities, Berkeley Homes, Volvo and Barclays Bank by working with the CarbonNeutral Company, the market leader in the provision of carbon offset and carbon reduction programs. 

We are currently educating all of the team and implementing processes to reduce our collective carbon footprint, and aim to continue to further reduce our CO2 emissions year on year. Our collective carbon footprint is audited annually and is offset through projects run by the CarbonNeutral Company, primarily through renewable energy generation, methane capture, energy efficiency and forestry. Through another scheme run by E-on and Climate Care, every unit of electricity we use at Squeeze is matched with a unit generated from a renewable wind or hydro source and supplied back to the national grid. 

We endeavour to use suppliers that share our ethos, and actively encourage our clients to choose the most environmentally responsible processes and materials for everything we produce.
